I have an Honours degree in Education and have worked in the early years sector for over 25 years. During this time, I have been an Ofsted inspector and Team Manager, a Local Authority Lead Advisor for Early Years and have held operations and Director level positions with a number of nursery companies and chains. I also have my own successful early years consultancy and I offer support and training to settings all across the country. In my spare time I enjoy following Liverpool FC, Formula 1 and cooking as well as spending time with my little rescue dog, Ted.

Although my background isn’t in early years, I have always worked in the education, health and care sectors. I am currently working as a Social Prescriber from the London Borough of Havering. I am extremely organised and I also hope that this will permeate through the processes we instigate at the nursery.

I have over 10 years’ experience in the early years sector and I’ve worked with all ages from babies through to pre-schoolers. I have experience of working with children who have Special Educational Needs, both medical and educational. I am always keen to learn more and be the best erson I can be. I love to watch the children in my care grow and develop. In my spare time I love to bake, and I’m very fond of giraffes! I have a Level 5 NVQ in early Years Management along with a Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in Children’s Care, Learning and Development. I am also qualified in various aspects of looking after children with SEND and am currently completing a forest school qualification too.

I love bringing new ideas and fresh outlooks to Mighty Oaks. I am a level 6 Early Years Educator with a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Childhood and Youth Studies. I also have my Level 3 EY SENDCo qualification. I believe that children learn through play, experiencing the world and learning to respect the environment and those around them, whilst having opportunities to explore, hypothesise and to problem solve. l am a fun-loving family girl who enjoys nothing more than going out and about in whatever the weather; you're most likely to find me either in the forest or watching some well-loved Disney classics.

Since gaining my Level 2 in Early Years last year, I have been eager to further my learning and complete higher level qualifications which I will be doing this year at Mighty Oaks. I believe that children learn best through play, both indoors and outdoors, whilst understanding the importance of respecting each other and the environment that surrounds them. In my spare time, you’ll usually find me down on the beach or spending quality time with family and friends. I hope to give the children in our care a positive start to their lives, whilst preparing them for further education as they move on to school.

I have 7 years’ experience in the early years sector and am excited to be returning to the Mighty oaks family. I love being able to support the children in the learning and in developing in their own unique ways. In my spare time, I love nothing more than spending time with family and friends as well as watching anything Disney related.

I have worked in the early years sector since 2012 and have worked with children of all ages from 3 months to 5 years. I find each age group rewarding in their own way. I always wanted to work with children and I really enjoy what I do. Outside work, I spend as much time as possible with my family, especially my nephews. I am also super excited that I will be having my own little one in September 2024.

I am qualified to NVQ Level 3 and I love working in the early years sector as no two days are ever the same. It is truly amazing to watch the children develop, thrive and achieve new milestones because of the work we do with them. In my spare time, I like to socialise with friends and family and go for long walks on the beach which I find very relaxing.

I am currently working towards my Level 2 qualification in childcare here at Mighty Oaks. I am a keen learner, and will always to to push myself to be more knowledgeable around things that I am passionate about. In my spare time, I enjoy making memories with my friends and family and taking long walks down on the beach with my dog. I am looking forward to bringing my enthusiastic personality into the setting and I hope to make a positive impact on the children in our care.
