Skip to content For the under 2s at Mighty Oaks Day Nursery and Preschool, we have a room which caters specifically for their needs. With a mix of non-slip flooring and soft deep pile carpet, our youngest children can explore their environment safely, particularly as they start to stand on their own and take their first steps. We also have a double cot and a beautiful ‘Dream Coracle’ ready for them to curl up in when they need a rest. The staff in the Little Acorns Room are trained specifically to work with children under 2 and make great use of the beautiful age-appropriate resources.
All children eat in our dedicated Dining Room. Children sit with their friends to enjoy a range of healthy tasty food and snacks and learn to self-serve as they get older. Setting the right atmosphere is important so we ensure each table has a tablecloth and flowers before the children sit down to eat.
